As we travel deeper into the countryside, the road is becoming less saturated with trucks and the scenery has shifted to various layers of green. The corn fields and tea plantations dotted with church steeples and framed by towering mountains in the mist make for a pleasant view along the Ho Chi Minh Highway as we continue our way south. Cycling can be monotonous at times, so we find simple games to amuse ourselves and make plenty of stops for pictures and cane juice.
Today was another long ride, but everyone tackled the distance with ease. We’re getting stronger. Our bodies are adapting to riding day after day, and by the end of the month we’ll be ready to take on anything. But tonight we’re content with our soft beds and proper showers, as we rest and prepare for the next day’s ride. With another 90 km behind us, we cooled off in the pool and shared our evening meal in the hotel restaurant, carousing late into the night.

We'd like to thank our generous sponsor Dymax. We are grateful to former-H2H rider Andrew Lacy for his ongoing support (second year in a row!) It means a great deal to us.
