Day 6 Pho Chau to Huong Khe

Now this is a story all about how,
Day 6 got flipped-turned upside down,
And we’d like to take a minute,
Just sit right there,
We’ll tell you how we cycled from Pho Chau to Huong Khe.

Through North vietnam we’ve cycled and raced,
On the Ho Chi Minh highway we’ve spent most of our days,
Chillin’ out, pedaling, cadencing all cool,
And together raising nearly 27k for the kids to go to school.
When a couple of guys who liked the hotel,
Wanted to change the leaving time and raised hell.
There were no actual fights and everyone took it on the chin,
We all voted and said, ‘we’ll leave tomorrow at 1 and have a nice long lie in’.

We stretched with the kids, though Kacey didn’t wanna,
So Moe lead the way before we left to get pizza,
He showed them our routine, they laughed and hopped up and down,
Then we put our earphones in and got food in town.

First bite, yo this is bad.
Peeling back the cheese to see a mouldy base.
Is this what all the pizza on the road is gonna be like?
Hmmmmm this might not be alright.

Well, Emma paced the girl crew and they got there fast,
Davide and Tessa loved the friendly families and gold-lit countryside they passed,
Alice won mr sexy time,
John taught us about gears.
Isaac managed to stroke a buffalo at long last.

Ray was followed by a car and when it came near,
The woman gave him her number and Craig called her back later.
If anything I could say this day was rare,
But if you didn’t know by now, the h2h crew does everything with flair.

Sabrina took monument photos, (about seven or eight)
Kristy yelled about donuts, ‘yo moe you better get me one later’
Craig and linh rode well,
Saz screamed at a duck,
Anastacia had to go to the doctor but we all made it from Pho Chau, fo’ sho’, to Huong Khe

Our team thanks our sponsor OM Factory Hanoi - School of Yoga for their contribution to the ride. Check them out here
