After yesterday's monstrosity, today's 64 kilometers seemed like a walk in the park. Thanks to the shorter day, we met at 7:30 (what Kate considers sleeping in) and did our stretches in the hotel lobby, much to the amusement of the hotel staff. I had a quick spray down thanks to the car wash next to our hotel, mounted DJ Đạp (my onboard speaker) to the handlebars, and away we went.

About an hour in, a few of us stopped for some sugarcane juice across from a park with a traditional house of the region, a few tanks, and a giant statue. Good stuff.

Saigon-bound we went for another hour with gorgeous weather and through endlessly rolling hills before it was time for pit stop #2.
